Elaine & Conor’s Wedding at the Armada Hotel Spanish Point

Despite postponements and restrictions Elaine & Conor were adamant to get married at the Armada Hotel spanish point.

Originally panned for June 2020 with 150 guests , Conor & Elaine’s wedding took place in October with a restricted number of 25 guests. After believing that their wedding day might be cancelled because of changing restrictions levels , their date was finally confirmed a few days before.

‘The day was amazing from start to finish, There were some really important people who couldn’t be there but the people that were there really made the day extra special for us and we are forever grateful to them all.’

Despite taking place in October, Elaine & Conor’s wedding day was beautiful , nice crisp sunny weather with the fresh air from the sea.

Their morning preparations and ceremony took place in the Armada Hotel, which made the whole day feel very relaxed and easy as no travel was involved, and Grainne, their wedding coordinator and the Team made sure their every needs were taken care off.

All guests being close family members , they were all part of the same family bubble and had been isolating for days beforehand , making the day itself feel a bit more relaxed and natural.

After the ceremony , family pictures took place on the grass, overlooking the sea. And we then went to Spanish Point beach with the Bride and Groom for some couple’s pictures.

The atmosphere was so relaxed and Elaine & Conor were such a pleasure to work with that it was a very enjoyable experience .

I had promised Elaine & Conor to grab every chance we’d have to capture a few sunset images . Half way through diner i saw that the sun was minutes away from setting , and between two course i asked the Bride and Groom if they wanted to get outside to make the most of it. The location didn’t disappoint as you can see here,
