The day began in the historic town of Athlone. Hazel and Ferdia exchanged vows at the magnificent St. Peter and Paul’s Cathedral. The scale of the cathedral, with its intricate stained glass and soaring ceilings, provided a sense of timelessness and “wow-factor” that perfectly kicked off the festivities.

Following the ceremony, we made our way to one of my favorite venues in County Westmeath: Glasson Lakehouse.
